The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of environmental risks and their impacts in the cadastral territory of Vyšný Skálnik. The main task of presented thesis was to analyze the environmental risks and their environmental impacts in this community. At the beginning of the work is the definition of the environment as well as its components and subjects of environmental law. Subsequently, the essential legislation on the environment of the Slovak Republic is also mentioned. The cadastral territory and the most significant risks, which contribute to the pollution and damage of the environment as well as the inhabitants of this municipality, are further identified. The main focus is being put on partial water, soil and air monitoring systems. Both the negative and positive impacts of environmental risks in Vyšný Skálnik are further analysed.
