The aim of our work is to determine the status of rare, threatened and protected plant species of selected non-forest vegetation habitats. For our research area, we have chosen the cadastral area of Horné Srnie, out of which large part belongs to the White Carpathian Protected Landscape Area. The work contains a list of all the plants which we found on the sites, including rare plant taxa. In the work, we also mentioned what managent has been done on these biotopes in the past as well as the information on their current management. For mapped phytocoenoses, we have proposed measures that can ensure their conservation and protection. Part of the work is the characteristic of rare plants that were recorded during the inventory. Based on the mapped species, we have assigned the biotopes to specific syntaxonomic units. We have generally described the syntaxonomic units of the herbaceous herb in terms of characteristics, the spread in the world and in Slovakia, the risk factors, the management and the way of their recovery. For better orientation in the cadastral area of Horné Srnie, we have briefly characterized this territory in terms of natural conditions and we have created graphical backgrounds to display them.
