The diploma thesis aims to analyze citizen demand for chosen ecosystem services in Zvolen town. In order to reach the aim a map of current land cover and urban ecosystems was digitalized. By adding attributes of ES supply potential to land cover features maps of ES supply potential were digitalized for CICES v5.3 classes: 1.1.1.2, 4.2.2.2/3, 2.1.1.2, 2.2.1.3, 2.2.2.1, 6.1.1.1, 6.2.2.1. Based on habitable structures locations and population of districts a map of citizen distribution was created. Considering relation of ES supply potential and citizen distribution a demand for Air quality regulation ES and a Cultural ES was calculated. In theoretical part of the thesis a ES evolution and actual situation, methodology and short characteristics of Zvolen town can be found.
