Dissertation thesis deals with basic training of members of fire brigades. The target group are members of the Municipal Voluntary Fire Departments. The work analyzes the current state operation, the importance of members of MVFD in Slovakia and abroad, identify problems and deficiencies in the basic preparation. The main goal of this work is to create an interactive training course, basic training of members of Fire Units - Municipal Voluntary Fire Departments in LMS Moodle. Part of the work is a questionnaire survey of three target groups analyzing the views of the public and members of the Fire and Rescue Service to work MVFD, and the views of the three target groups for the introduction and use of e-learning within the basic training of fire brigades. In conclusion are summarized benefits and recommendations for the future. As follows from the questionnaire survey, the public and members of the FRC perceived activity MVFD very positive. Positive is the attitude of all respondents to use e-learning in the basic training of fire units. This form of learning means many advantages for training centers. In matters of training for members MVFD in Slovakia are still gaps. Created course provides a platform for the creation of a single study material for that target group. The work may also give rise to a change in legislation in this area.
