The introduction of this bachelor thesis consists of the processed legislation regarding united labeling of fire fighting vehicles, their division and equipment. The focus of this thesis is to compare chosen models of Mercedes Benz Atego, with them being Mercedes Benz Atego 1528 AF 4x4 and Mercedes Benz Atego 1529 AF 4x4. Resources used consist of documents provided by various fire station, laws and edicts, academic readings and generally availeble information. The main task was to compare the chosen vehicles and their tactical-technical parameters, their material-technical equipment, as well as to point out the differences between the two. The conclusion of the thesis states that the previously mentioned vehicles have almost identical parameters and material-technical equipment. The differences between the two are negligible.
