The master thesis focuses on the impact of the environment (particular meteorological characteristics) on the change of the tree trunk circumference of Picea abies, Abies alba, Larix decidua and Pinus sylvestris. The subject of the research is Arborétum Borová hora of Technical University in Zvolen where the ‘proveniencie’ of the examined woods can be found. The data collection time ranges from April until October during the years 2015 – 2017. The data are collected by using dendrometers, type DRL 26. Alongside with the measuring of the diameters, measurements of the waterfall, air and soil temperature, global radiation, air humidity and water potential have been made. The thesis provides the insight into the natural character of the area of Arboréta borová hora as well as meteorological details of the examined years. Collected data are processed, compared and summarized in the form of tables and graphs at the end of the thesis.
