The aim of this thesis is elaboration partial suggestions to minimize mostly forest fires on thearea of north-east Spiš. I used the HaZZ data and observations and experiences of forest operation on High Tatra and Low Tatra national park theritory. Thes is contains basic characteristic saffected area and basic segmentation of fires, thatis based on lawforestgrangeand protection of people and property. The main goalis to describe natural fire, it is not possible not to include the other basic causes of fire origins. Thesis is base dont natural conditions of the environment. Data will be characterized using meteorological fire environment idex and will be compared to types of fire according to the forest legislation.
