Logistics plays a key role among the strategic factors affecting the competitiveness of the company. Prove to plan the way of the goods from development, production and purchase to delivery to the end customer, which is most difficult. In a mature market economy, the firm can only be successful which can meet increasingly demanding customer needs with a solid offer of new, high-quality goods or services. However, it is not enough just to produce a quality product or offer a quality service but it is important to ensure that these are available in the right amount, at the right place and at the right time, optimal costs. The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of logistics activities and their application to a specific firm. The chapters describe activities such as the purchase of goods, the production of products, the distribution of the products, customer service, which plays a very important role in each company.The aim of the thesis is to analyze individual logistics activities in Media s.r.o., with an emphasis on the production process of the company. It will also evaluate the effectiveness of these processes and, if necessary, propose measures for improvement in the future.
