Diploma thesis is focused on the change management in the enterprises of wood-processing industry in Slovakia. The work is divided into four basic parts. The first part is devoted to theoretical processing, which contains the theoretical bases of change, definition of change, types and reasons of change, models of change management, process of managing changes and the last sub-schapter is the characteristics of a wood-processing industry. The second part is focused on defining the main goal and consequently the partial goals of the diploma thesis. The third part is focused on the explanation of the methodology of work. The fourth part is focused on the evaluation of the data obtained from the questionnaire survey of problematics of change management. This part summarizes the results of work, the basic characteristics of the primary research and the structure of questionnaire. Another part is the verification and evaluation of dependencies, the evaluation of the achieved results and the proposal of methods and procedures for increasing of success during planning and implementation of changes in the wood-processing enterprises in Slovakia.
