Blanka Giertliová, PhD.; Zvolen: TU, 2018. 41s.The pertinent bachelor thesis focuses on the company short-term asset, its characteristics, structure and valuation. The short-term asset shall be defined as serviceable for a year, at maximum. Theoretical part discusses the structure of short-term asset, its differentiation from various perspectives, valuation as well as stipulation of its standardization necessity. Practical part elaborates on the analysis of resources as a component of short-term asset in the chosen company, Vysokoškolský lesnícky podnik Zvolen (VŠLP) which is part of Technical University in Zvolen. Short-asset management in VŠLP represents an important role in the overall business management. From the perspective of the overall company asset, short-term asset represented 41% during the monitored period and this a significant part. Drawing from the results, we might conclude that the company has refined resources management system supported by the software solutions.
