In my thesis I deal with the problems about damage caused by animals and damage caused to the animals, which is part of hunting association from very beginning, but in particular in the last decades it has grown to a large extent. In this thesis, I peered in the past. The current state of wild animals is high which despite many measures which hunters, foresters and farmers done. The role of my work is to analyze the state and the development of the damage caused by the animals and damage caused to the animals according to evidence and statistics, which are currently in use, comparison of the law characteristics damage caused by the animals and damage caused to the animals in valid hunting legislation in Slovakia, a proposal to optimize mutual co-operation between the user of the hunting area and the user of the hunting grounds in the settlement of damage caused by animals and damage caused to the animals caused on jointly managed plots.
