The Master thesis is focused on issues of taxation and their effect on business management. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the impact of taxes on business of Sapa profily a. s. for the monitored period 2011 - 2016. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the approach of terms such as tax, object, subject, tax base, tax system, and the impact of tax on the behavior of subjects. The practical part of the thesis is based on theoretical knowledge and is focused on the characteristics of the company and its portfolio, the analysis of the current state of the company's management in the monitored period on the basis of the profit and loss statement and the balance sheet, the analysis of the individual taxes that the company has carried out over the monitored period and the follow analysis of the impact of the respective taxes on the overall management of the company. At the end of the thesis are summarized the results obtained from the performed analyzes. The purpose of the thesis is to demonstrate the ability to learn and to apply theoretical knowledge into real life situations.
