The aim of the bachelor thesis is statistical processing of selected financial and economic indicators of chosen company in wood-processing industry. In the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis we focus on theoretical background of the financial and economic analysis of the financial and economic analysis, its essence and purpose, the information source necessary for the preparation of the financial and economic analysis, the methods and procedures of the financial analysis and the indicators used in the analysis. In the analytical part of the bachelor thesis we use the tables and graphs to statistically evaluate the collected data of the selected company for the period 2009-2017. The thesis is aimed at evaluating the ratios of profitability ratios (Return on Assets, Return on Equity, Return on Sales) and liquidity (Cash Position Ratio, Quick Asset Ratio, Current Ratio). The conclusion of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the results obtained and to propose measures for possible improvement of the financial condition of the company.
