The goal of this diploma thesis is the application of selected steps of the LANDEP methodology in the model area of the Kráľovce-Krnišov and Žibritov. The LANDEP methodology is designed to address the most diverse types of tasks according to a uniform system-based outline. The diploma thesis consists of a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part is described the relationship of man to the landscape, its different approachces and views on landscape, individual landscape structures and the LANDEP methodology. In the practical part of the LANDEP methodology were used landscape-ecological analyzes, landscape-ecological syntheses, landscape-ecological interpretations and landscape-ecological evaluations, while the results are the limits of agricultural land use. Maps and tables have been developed in each part of the methodology. These characteristics were processed by Geographic Informations System (GIS) technology, which is a significant information tool for the LANDEP methodology.
