The aim of the bachelor thesis is to optimize the decisional problems in the process of procurement in the chosen company EKOLTECH spol. s r. o. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on management, managerial functions, decision making, logistics and purchasing more specifically procurement logistics. The theoretical background serves as the basis for the practical part of the work. The work also characterizes the company, its profile, the production process, the process of creating new products, the product portfolio, the input material and the production schedule. The practical part of the thesis focuses on evaluation of suppliers´ selection in EKOLTECH spol. s r. o. Valuing suppliers will use the benefit analysis and pairing to help us determine the choice of the right supplier for a particular component, namely the DAYBED TWIN rails from the HEMNES series. Finally, possible solutions will be proposed to better optimize decision-making issues in the procurement process, in cooperation with the purchasing department of the company.
