The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze trends in the development of thermal and technical properties of wooden windows.In the introduction, the work is focused on the basic characteristics of the windows, the distribution, the materials used in window production and window functions. Next, the windows are mentioned in the work, their distribution from different perspectives and thermo-technical properties. In the next part of the thesis are mentioned materials from which windows are made in Slovakia and abroad.The next chapter deals with the development of thermal and technical requirements for windows in residential buildings and calculations. The final part deals with requirements and criteria for waterproofing windows.
