This bachelor thesis is focused on the possibilities of strength calculations of thin-walled structures in CAE system CREO SIMULATE. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part it deals with a brief description of the finite element method and CAE systems in general. It describes how to use the CAE program CREO SIMULATE. Further, this work includes a simple conveyor design - a thin-walled structure. Practical part solves concrete strength calculations on conveyor model. For simplicity, these calculations are performed on one section of the structure. The goal of this thesis is to perform calculations in CREO SIMULATE using SOLID, SHELL and BEAM elements. These computations are then compared, evaluated, and based on that, they make recommendations and conclusions.
