DF TUZVO, 2018. 62 s.Diploma thesis is focused on analysis of variance as a cost control tool in the selected company. An aim of the thesis was to highlight the cost monitoring system and an absence of the system for the analysis of variance in the selected company. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the introduction is characterized the teoretical basics in the field of controlling, with a focus on costs, their sorting and cost controlling. We have also approached the methods of absorbing costing and variable costing, the classification of variances, and the methodical approach to analysing to variances in the absorbing costing and variable costing. The practical part of thesis describes the character of selected company. Next, it describes financial situation of the company, the costs structure and it points to the missing management system of cost trough the analysis of variance. In the analytical part of thesis is presented a proposal for more efficient monitoring and redistribution of costs by capacity allocation. The thesis is also focused on the implementation of the system for variances monitoring system and creation of a controlling report using software support for the selected product. In the end are evaluated the results and the possibilities of applying the proposals in a mentioned company.
