The aim of the Master Thesis stands in a approximation of market trends and prices of selected assortments of raw-wood in Slovak Republic. The theoretical part is devoted to the issue that affected and influenced the timber market. The practical part analyzes the volumes of raw-wood assortments deliveries on domestic market from 2007 to 2016. Furthermore, the percentage of deliveries was evaluated in III., V. and VI. quality class in 2007 after 2016. In the last part of Master Thesis, the development of prices of raw-wood assortments, plants, such as spruce, fir and beech, was evaluated in III., V. and VI. quality class from 2007 to 2017. In the future, we assume growth in wood prices due to recurrent natural disasters. In conclussion, solutions have been proposed that may contribute to a better state of the timber market.
