This thesis is focused on the analyzing the development of deliveries of raw wood and wood products on the European and Slovak market. Raw wood and wood products consist of wood fuel, industrial round wood, pulpwood, saw logs, other industrial round wood, wood chips and particles, wood pellets, sawn wood, plywood, particle board, OSB and MDF/HDF. Thesis is divided into two parts. First part of the thesis includes the theoretical definition of timber trade, the factors effecting this market, the forest management and legislation of Slovak Republic, the Czech Republic, Austria and Germany. In the second part of thesis is describing the analysis of production of raw wood and wood products in Slovakia and Europe.
