The diploma thesis deals with different types of nonwoven geotextiles, which we underwent in three different tests. The ignition test, where the samples were exposed to a small flame in the area and edge where we experimented with calculations and loss of weight. The next step was to detect the ignition and flash temperatures, where the samples were placed in a hot air oven and exposed to different temperatures. In the last experiment, we determined the acoustic absorption. The final evaluation and comparison of the samples were processed in the form of tables and graphs. On the basis of the evaluation results, recommendations for the practical use of the evaluated materials were proposed.
