The main theme of this diploma thesis is the analysis of the decision making process. The decision-making process is aimed at choosing a general contractor for the construction of a residential complex. An analysis of the current state of the decision making process and also of the optimization proposal, is carried out in the selected company, which is Arkon, a. s. In the theoretical part of this diploma thesis there are knowledge about management, knowledge about the decision making process, its individual elements and methods of decision making process. This diploma thesis deals with the process of analysis and design of quantitative parameters of decision-making processes. The goal of this thesis is to analyze the current state of decision making in the selected company, to point out the shortcomings occurring in the decision making and subsequently to propose solutions, which will make the decision making process of the supplier selection optimized and more objective.
