The aim of the diploma thesis was to optimize the cost monitoring in a particular company for the period of years 2015 – 2017. Diploma thesis consists of four parts, where the first part provides the essential theoretical concepts of the issue. The second part provides analysis of the current preformance of the company and it´s cost monitoring system. For the purpose of the analysis we used the internal documents provided by the company. Next part of the diploma thesis gives further focus on the activities of the company and tries to find a method to effectively redistribute the common cost of the company. The final part is then devoted to summarizing the results of the diploma thesis and provides suggestions for more effective monitoring of the company´s costs.
