The bachelor thesis is focused on bee products. The target of the thesis is to describe the importance of beekeeping for Slovak economy, to divide the bee products into primary and secondary, to characterize them and to describe the importance and the use of these products. Because of the composition of bee products we can use them for many purposes. They are a part of medical products and are used in cosmetic industry. Bee products are important dietary supplements and they have a positive effect on human health. The last chapter is focused on apitherapy. It is a way of healing by bee products
