The first chapter defines the concept of lifestyle and the elements of the macro environment, focusing on socio-economic factors influencing lifestyle. The aim of the final work was to analyze socio-economic factors and their impact on the lifestyle of individuals and households. The object of the survey was the Novohrad region, where we focused on generating the age structure of 18-30 years old. On the basis of the results obtained through a questionnaire survey and their subsequent processing and evaluation, we have developed a proposal for measures to eliminate the negative factors affecting the living standards of the individual lifestyles of the selected generation.In the research section, through a questionnaire survey that evaluated the socio-economic factors, values, life goals and concerns of respondents in the region, we evaluated the negative factors that influence the lifestyle of quality of life. The survey results were evaluated using graphical, statistical and descriptive methods. Based on the analysis of the results, we proposed measures to eliminate the negative factors influencing individual preferred lifestyles and to improve the quality of life in the town of Lučenec as well as to create the individual characteristics that belong to the preferred lifestyle.
