European beech (Fagus sylvatica) creates large growths in Slovakia. With its share of more than 31 % it is the most important and spread wood in Slovakia. Beech belongs to economically important wood in Slovakia. Although the wood is considered as relatively resistant, it is tending to many bark harm of any kind. In the Thesis I intend to focus on necrotic diseases , which by the considerable rate, currently participate on deteriorating condition of beech growth. The increased occurence of the disease currently requires heightened attention therefore it is necessary to deal with the issue. The Bachelor Thesis provides the results interpretation obtained at model growth of Vihorlat forests – urban plot PS Poruba pod Vihorlatom. I have submitted the methodology of evaluation and results processing here which I obtained at the terrain works at the given area.The intention of the Thesis was to ascertain the health condition from the aspect of necrotic disease, the resistance potencial and to emphasize particular facts which influence evaluation of health condition of beech growth. By its conclusion to propose framework measures for improvement the health condition of the growths.
