The topic of the diploma thesis is to analyze height growth and morphology of crown and needles of individuals from artificial regeneration of White Fir (Abies alba Mill.) under the shade of reconstructed spruce vegetation ( 339a part LS Paráč, 420 LS Zákamenné, OZ Námestovo). The main objective of the work will be quantification of direct, diffuse and total radiation under a shade of vegetation and analysis of this impact on height growth and crown morphology and needles of individuals of white fir underplantings in parts 339a and 420.In the stand 420 to 12 respectively. 339a we have 15 circular areas and we measured biometric parameters in the lower and upper storey and these measured values we are used in further calculations. The basis of our measurement was underplanting of white fir and her height was in the part 420 on the scale of 130 cm to 395 cm and individuals in the part 339a were high from 107 cm to 313 cm. The measured values were processed and we calculated with these indexes (ADR): index of apical dominance (RCL), relative lenght of the crown (RHG), relative height increment and competition index. Than we evaluate correlation of radiation: direct, indirect, with the iverall index of RHG, ADR, RCL, SLA and the correlations were made for both parts. The biggest impact on an artificial recovery of white fir had a diffuse radiation. The measured values of the diffuse radiation above individuals of white fir in the part 420 were on the scale from 6,2 to 27,3 on average 16,6. From each individual from the top of the crown was collected 50 needles for further analysis including: scanning, drying and the weighing and calculating SLA.In my work went out following positive correlations: in a part 420 index of apical dominance correlated with diffuse radiation, also in 339a diffuse radiation also correlated but with the relative increase in height and in both parts confirmed the correlation between diffuse radiation and specific leaf area.
